Dr Alvin Chan
Dr Alvin Chan qualified at St Bartholomew’s and The Royal London Medical School in 2005. He gained Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners in 2014. During his specialty training in general practice, he rotated through adult acute medicine, accident and emergency, paediatrics, psychiatry, and rheumatology.
He works for Night Doctor to provide out of hours cover for this surgery, as well as other private practices in Kensington and Chelsea.
He has an interest in Mental health, Out of Hours care, Minor Injuries, and Digital Health. He plays an active role in Undergraduate Medical Education as he teaches Year 1-5 Medical Students as a GP tutor and Communication Skills Facilitator at Kings College London.
He also serves as a GP Specialist Advisor for CQC (Care Quality Commission), encouraging practices to provide patients with compassionate and high-quality care.
Outside of medicine, he enjoys playing tennis, baking cheesecake, and loves chasing after his young daughter.
