Reflexology, Acupuncture, Yoga and Taichi
Ying Liu is a registered acupuncturist and reflexologist and a yoga teacher. She is a member of The British Acupuncture Council and The International Federation of Reflexologists. She holds a BSc. (Hons.) degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the University of Westminster and is an experienced teacher of yoga and tai-chi.
Ying takes a holistic approach to her practice –taking into account physical and emotional factors in a patient’s lifestyle such as stress, improper diet and lack of exercise, which can be the cause of a manifesting illness.
Ying has guided many people toward a greater understanding of their body and health. She is particularly interested in the treatment and management of musculoskeletal pain, premenstrual tension, menopausal symptoms, insomnia and digestive disorders by using a combination of techniques including reflexology, acupuncture, proper exercise, proper breathing and a traditional Chinese medical approach to diet.
Ying believes that reflexology and acupuncture are complementary therapies that work well alongside conventional western medicine.
