Dr Kam Manak

Dr Kam Manak is a UK trained doctor passionate about providing quality care in general practice.
She graduated from St Bart’s and The Royal London, University of London, in 2006. She undertook her postgraduate NHS training in East London including General Practice, Psychiatry, Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She then decided to explore the sunny shores of Melbourne, Australia for 7 years where she worked as a Private GP and Honorary Clinical Lecturer at the University of Melbourne.
Although she enjoys all areas of general practice, she has a special interest in women’s health. She has achieved a Diploma of the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare (DFSRH) and Diploma of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (DRCOG). She specialises in all areas of women’s health including cervical screening, contraception advice, pre-conception counselling, postnatal care, menopausal management, sexual and reproductive health.
Her other areas of expertise include chronic disease management, children’s health, lifestyle medicine, managing stress, anxiety and depression. She is keen to support and empower her patients to live happier and healthier by providing evidence based lifestyle interventions.
She is a member of The Royal College of General Practitioners and Fellow of Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
When she is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two energetic boys. She enjoys exploring different cuisines, reading, Indian cooking, gym sessions and kettle bell classes.
