We take our duty to protect the confidentiality and security of personal information very seriously and we make every effort to ensure that patient confidentiality is maintained at all times by all members of staff.
All staff working in the surgery are subject to stringent confidentiality requirements and no information from your record will be released to third parties without your specific consent.
The surgery uses a sophisticated computer software, specially tailored to our needs. We now run a completely paperless data storage system. All appointments and consultations are processed electronically, and results and correspondence immediately scanned onto a patient’s file. This ensures the highest quality of data storage, retrieval and analysis for all members of the practice team. Such electronic notes are backed up daily and protected by changing passwords to ensure confidentiality in line with national guidelines.
